Yes! Veterans Day is federal holiday in the United States Of America. As it is big and an important for the citizens of that country as there whole was dependable on the world war 1st. As the world war ended in 1954 all citizens and people of U.S became happy, relaxed and safe. On that time of war many people lost there home there lives and everything they had. So due to this reason Veterans Day is been celebrated from last 60 years. It is Federal Holiday as many businesses remain close on that day. Many offices post office and other private companies offices are also closed due to the grand celebration of this day.
Some American workers and many students have Veterans Day off from work or school as it is Federal holiday. When Veterans Day falls on a Saturday then either Saturday or the preceding Friday may be designated as the holiday, whereas if the Veterans Day falls on a Sunday it is typically the holiday is on the following Monday.
